OMFG that is so funny (if it's true).

How the heck are you, Barbara?! Are you frozen over in DC? No more diving eh?

In recent news drunk driver stops a bank robbery by running onto the curb as they were exiting the building , says "don't tell my mom" before frantically backing over a car thief.

Yea - this totally cracked me up when I read it. Had to share, dunno if it's real or not. But entertaining.

I went diving a times over the summer....in a lake, and it basically stinks. I was quite amazed at some of the folks who donned drysuits in humid 90*+ weather to go see a plane at 60'. AMAZING. Missing the convenience of Puget Soup diving, and the whole aspect of diving. My poor gear has been completely dry.

Yes- it's bum cold and the Potomac has frozen over...with some odd looking snowmobile tracks on the surface....and birds chilling in the middle of the river on snow dusted ice.

Hopefully some warm water dives next year in Cozumel or something. :)

DC is otherwise a transient, quasi-drunk brain magnet...with some interesting stuff like hockey and crazed football people, and too many museums. Ironically, it's a segregated mixed salad, thought by some to be a very culturally diverse place and the center of the world.

Hopefully, the next area I move to will have more diving. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Hope all is well! Oooh yeah, and Happy Festivus! :breakdance:
