I see them all the time while diving at various sites in the sound. Are they that good to eat? My mind says that a clam that big would have to be chewier than octopus.

if you are ever in Shelton go to Xinh's clam and oyster house and order the Geoduck bellies or Geoduck Ceviche. Amazing. Not chewy in the slightest. I had no idea until recently that they were even halfway edible (had assumed the same)

WA F&W shares a great video that helped me understand the animal. Not sure I could stomach it raw, but the clam strips sound goooood!
