Thursday Diving 11/7

Well it has been almost a month since I have been wet. Project is done so back to diving.

Meet :Three Tree 6pm
Splash 6:30pm

Depending on weather (WIND) I will bring canopy and Mr Heater

Finally someone who can make a thursday dive. IF I can get my tanks filled I will probably do some earlier dives with Tom. Have to make sure the wife has nothing planned for me first.

I need to fill a couple of Tanks and plan on diving Thursday maybe one or two, early, with Tom & Jeff, and then One in the evening.
Not sure yet.

I PM'd eric to ask when he could meet on Thursday but have not heard back yet. When I do I will make the first meet time when he can make it.

I've been meaning to venture south and meet and dive with you guys (if that's alright .) I could plan on 2 dives and should be able to start at 5pm. Does anyone bring a scooter? I have a Sierra I can bring.

Hey now, If I recall, on the 24th I was the only one who showed up. Had to call a local buddy to get a dive in!

I will try to make this dive, although after being on vacation last week might be tougher to slip out of work this week.

OK tanks filled so it looks like I have 1 for a 5pm meet but no one on the south end owns a scoot. Best we have are rebreathers and Mr Heater.

I will be doing a couple of earlier dives as well meeting at Three Tree @ 9am. Might try to get my tanks filled again cause who knows how many dives after 5pm.

Well I hate to be the one to late cancel but I have a roof leak to find so I am out for the later dives.

A great couple of dives - wonderful conditions below, dark, windy, rainy, choppy above.

Thanks Jeff for a couple of great dives, and hope it works out for the later crew... although if anyone needs an excuse to cancel just look outside!

Wind is out of the South, so Three Tree North is not bad at all in terms of waves - easy entry and exit because you are sheltered.

Surface conditions - that's another story!

What Tom said Three Tree is OK for entry and hopefully the wind and rain slow down. Had to take canopy down. IF you do happen to go and do the Junk Yard side of things there is a juvenile wolfie in the rear end of the old golf ball boat trailer. There is also another grey wolfee in the end of a very long pipe which I remember was around 70fsw. The pipe is among some other debri but the pipe looks very long going down slope and the wolfee is on the shallowest end. Plenty of grunt sculpins.

I found the leak in my roof and I think it is gray tarp time until next summer when we have better weather and money to fix it. :angry:
