Nootka Sound Lodging

Post by DanClements »

We are heading back up to Gold River on Vancouver Island this September to photograph salmon and the underwater gorge, and are thinking about rounding out the trip with some diving in Nootka Sound, rather than Quadra Island off Campbell River. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding lodging in the Nootka Sound/Tahsis area?

Thanks!

I would contact Scott & Jude Schooner with Tahtsa Dive Charters - they should have some great recommendations - both on the diving and places to stay.

They are great people, and you would really benefit from their local knowledge & experience.

We enjoyed staying at a b&b called Fern's Place http://home.cablerocket.com/~ferns_place/
Had an enclosed area good for hanging drippy dive gear, good breakfasts

+1. Scott and Jude are awesome, and run a great business, too.
