Seattle to Tacoma area diving friday and saturday anyone?

Post by Rooinater »

Looking to find some people to dive with on friday and saturday. I'd like to get some more diving in over my spring break before I go back to college on monday. Advanced openwater cert, 55+ dives, also there is a buddies wanted post in the find a buddy forum, but I'd really like to get back out diving in the area in the next couple days as well.

Where are you thinking of diving at on Friday? I might be able work a dive into my schedule. I'll be in the Ballard area / Shilshole marina.

Not to be vague, but I was thinking somewhere between Redondo and Seattle. I'm fairly new to most of the Washington dive sites and would prefer somewhere new. Maybe Alki or wherever would fit into people's schedule, or if you know somewhere interesting.

I've only dove in Washington, the Ranger wreck in port townsend, les davis, harper's ferry, redondo, and edmonds. So I'd like to see more :)

We'll plan on diving 3 Tree next Thursday then. it's in Burien, about ten minutes from Sea Tac.

I can dive wherever you can make it to and fit it in your schedule.

3 tree sounds good for next Thursday, I might be a little later than 5, depending on how quick I get out of my Organic Chemistry lab and onto the road.

We'll be doing two dives, so you'll just be early for dive #2.

Rooinater,
I can meet you at Alki, or Alki pipeline, say sometime between 12:00 noon and 1:00 PM. Would that work out for you? It's a new place for both of us.

I can do that, I'll call in the morning and run by tacoma scuba to pick up my tanks in the morning since I dropped them off tonight to be filled. My number is 425-359-3927.
