Twanoh State Park?

Post by lavachickie »

I found Twanoh over on PerfectDive (http://www.theperfectdive.com/DEF-Site.asp?sID=218) and then came here and found some posts from some years ago about odd bacteria growth due to O2 problems. Nothing since. What's the status of the site? Anyone been lately?

If I recall, it is at the end of the Great Bend and very shallow forever. Last time I dove it I saw nothing but Moon Snails and mud "Forever". I think Potlatch is even better.

Dove Twanoh several years ago. There were 6 of us there and between all of us we only saw one fish (a tube snout if I remember right). Saw lots and lots of Moonsnails and one Opalescent Nudi. It's not a dive site I'd recommend.
