Bandito Boat on Sunday

Post by GillyWeed »

Ok so I have 4 spots available for a Bandito boat on Sunday morning leaving at 8:00 from Pt. Defiance. (that means getting there by 7:30) The cost is $70 + tip for the Dive Master.

I have a group of close friends that we planned this with to celebrate mine and Jared's (Blacktoe) #100 dive. We are actually hitting it at the same time if you can believe it. So anyway, we had 4 maybes turn into 4 nos, so I have 4 spots available. I would love to fill up my boat so if anyone is interrested PM me.. It would be good to dive with the folks I have only just met briefly and some of you not at all so lets go diving!

Wow! :smt119

As much as I would love to do this, there is no way I could do this. $$ is extremely tight right now due to other family obligations. I just got back from Nebraska, visiting my mother and right now my wife is in Denver visiting her parents. Two trips + mortgage on one paycheck = Broke!
:-({|= ](*,) :pale:

Congrats on "almost 100!"

Hey Cera,

You could tell your hubby that real men would rather be diving than watching football... But that probably wont work and will just get you in trouble.

I know it is kind of last minute anyway I am just trying to make sure I get a full boat for Rick. There will be a next time!

Cheers,

Holly

Hi!

I have three divers interested in your Banditos boat trip on Sunday. You can write me at delaina@isomedia.com and we can coordinate if there is still room.

Sweet--boat dives rock!

This'll be two years running for an early morning dive on Superbowl Sunday! It's becoming a tradition!

(Plus, everyone at the party likes watching the video during the horrible half-time show....)

Well we did it! #100 was a blast. Thanks to everyone who showed up. Special Thanks to Delaina, Ryan & Rich.. I appreciate your spontinaity. We didn't want to have that big boat for just 6 divers...

We dove KVI and Maury Island Barges. Both dives were great. I thought visibility was better at the barges. Jared and I did a deeper dive (85') for the KVI dive and saw lots of rock fish and ling. My camera was giving me some trouble so I didn't really get any good photos from that one.. Here are the only two that were salvagable.. I want to know what the second one is I can't figure it out...

The second dive was the actual #100 at the Maury Island barges. This was cool for me for 2 reasons. 1st this was my first boat dive location and concurrently my 3 actual open water dive. So it was great to go back here for #100. Also ever since hearing that they were going to pull out the pilings here in March I wanted to get back to this site before they kill all the beautiful life growing on the pilings. BTW the WSA is meeting before they pull the Maury Island pilings out so maybe we can get some kind of petition started before they meet. We really should try to do something about this. Those pilings are teaming with life and they are going to kill all of those anemones, nudies, crabs, etc when they pull those out. So it was great to actually dive it again. I haven't had a better safety stop than at 15' on one of those pilings. Its so beautiful and there is so much to look at. Well like I said the camera wasn't cooperating (I don't want to hear anything about operator error) So all I managed to get were these two pictures...

Thanks to Erik, Sonya, Rush, Jenn, Ryan, Rich, and Delaina for celebrating 100 with Jared & I. What a lot of fun!

Ah, but you got the most important pictures of all; documentation of your 100th Dive!

Congrats! =D>
