I haven't active on here or actually diving for longer than I'd like to contemplate but i wanted to stop in and leave word that I'm actually disappearing for real for a few years and am not going to be taking gear for diving the Great Lakes with me. The next few months is going to include some major life events including my spouse graduating from her PHD program, us moving for her PostDoc at the University of Michigan, a baby in January, and possibly a wedding if we can figure out the logistics. I've got fond memories of all wonderful people I met here and all the incredible diving we did together. Ideally we'll return to the northwest in a few years and I'll be able to arrange my life to allow for more fun in the water.
Feel free to send a PM if getting beer in Ballard sounds like a good idea.
All my gear is going to be listed in the for sale forum and on Craig's List over the next few days. There's definitely a big treasure chest of hardware and DIY project materials that needs to find a home too.
