I'm curious to find out what this turns out to be. I saw a post about this on Facebook and in my peripheral vision, I assumed it must be from a Humbolt Squid (since I assumed Pompano Beach must be in Southern California.)

Uhmmm... Reported in the Orlando paper and it washed ashore on a Florida beach... Yup, no where near Southern California.

The article says they think it'a from a swordfish.
