Re: What is wrong with this guy???
With the abnormally swollen stomach, the two things that come to mind are either an internal tumor (I necropsied a fish that died from a huge tumor on its liver), or it ate something that caused internal damage after it was swallowed (e.g., a bad-ass crab). Of course Greg would go with a crab angle.

Where in the world?
If you could dive anywhere in the world, where would you choose to dive. I have included in the list common dive destinations as listed on several websites' "Top Ten Dive Destinations" lists. You can pick up to three options, and if you feel like your favorite isn't on the list, go ahead a...

I've seen it on my depth sounder. I asked nicely once at the Tides and they said no problem diving off their dock.

This has to set some sort of record for posting the same craiglist posting on here. Anyone with some time want to figure out how many times this boat has been posted here?

Re: Current conditions in Tacoma/Seattle area
It was flat, calm and dry last night at Redondo. Couldn't see my feet in the shallows, but, viz was probably at least 20 feet under the pier and stayed that way for the north profile.

I can hardly believe that there is a dive club in Yakima, but, apparently there is. Not sure what puddle they dive in, but, hey, they apparently have really cool yard sales. They raised a ton of money.BASSMAN wrote:What?coachrenz wrote:A dive club in Yakivegas

Re: Scuba Swap Meet?
A dive club in Yakivegas just held a similar event and raised enough money to pay for one the WSA mooring buoys. Now they get to decide which site to put it at and get a really cool plaque to put on it. They even had enough money left over to put into the club coffers. I think they raised something ...

joomla's a good platform and there's tons you can do with it. what host did you end up with? I ended up with GoDaddy. I have my domains with them and my school website is with them as well. So far, they have been pretty good to me. I have a couple of issues in the works that I am waiting for some r...

Webhosts are worse than worms
So, after being with the same webhost since February of 1998 (how many of you can say that?) I have had to end my relationship with them. I got in early and had purchased a life-time hosting account. I thought that would be the end of the webhosting costs, but, alas, that was not to be. I got nickle...

Re: Scuba Swap Meet?
I wonder if there is a way to take over the Redondo parking lot... During the winter time, the upper parking lot is always empty. People could bring those pop-up tent things, set their stuff up for the day, do some meeting and greeting and swapping and maybe even squeeze in a dive or two. Some would...

Re: Dumbe question about under armour
Where it helps is to take up some of the space between you and the suit which helps to minimize water flow. The less water movement that you have between you and the suit, the warmer you will be. A properly fitting wet suit will keep you warm, one that has lots of gaps and wrinkles and spaces, won't...

The issue I have with the crab season changing dates is that all the yahoo crabbers are out on the weekends. I crabbed a lot this season, at the beginning of the season if I left my pots out on Friday night, I would likely either lose one on Saturday when I went to pull them or they would have been ...

The photos this year were amazing. You must make it down on Saturday to take a peek. Lots of really great photos from Browning Pass, Fiji, Kona, Sechelt Inlet, Mexico and of course our own Puget Sound. There are some new categories this year that are pretty cool as well, Cold Water Nudies, Warm Wate...
